Warning, not for the faint of heart

I think it’s time to stop having fun with putting pictures I’ve put work into, on facebook and instead use flickr or ellioman.com exclusively.

Personally thinking about the latter and in the process change the theme of my site into this cool template I found a few days ago from revolution two.

It has become increasingly bothersome to search and find good sites to use as credible sources of the scam in question. The newest example: Mavericks Money Makers.

Those bastards had gone to the trouble and translated their whole page into Icelandic so it looked even more credible for the unsuspecting Icelandic crowd who want to make a buck easy. Although people out there should have an alarm ringing in their head that something is seriously wrong when the author of the site is making webpages like a 10 year old in the year 1995 learning html for the first time!

This site was without a doubt the hardest for me to crack so far because Google searches for “maverick money makers” plus fraud og scam, only releaved sites and blogs that claimed they were credible, used good techniques/marketing and so forth. But to my suprise, I found a video on metacafe which explains quite well what this site is about and so forth. (For example that the guy has used 4 different names in the last 4 months!)

I know most of you wouldn’t even read more then 1 paragraph of this shite (hopefully!) but by having to explain to a family member why sites like these are full of shit I have gotten a new perspective of how the “will to quit your day job” can really block a persons ability to spot scams like these.

After performing a whois search on tekjurnar.com I found out the owner is Tinna Sædal Ragnarsdóttir.
Tinna lives in Reykjavik and has an email which ends in @ibiza.is.
Ibiza.is is a solarium and like all good websites, they have staff photos!
